An over-the-hill journalist who now works at a greasy tabloid scents a new story: At the heart of its unveiling story the mysterious Michelle, a top star of the photo industry, is closely screened. Nobody knows where she comes from, where and how she lives. She never gives an interview but only makes her photos and disappears without a trace. Together with his photographer the journalist searches for clues which leads him in more wasp nests as can be right. First he is threatened, then beaten up. And then there are the first casualties.
